How to print L7165 labels
- Choose A4 (210 × 297 mm) paper and print at 100% / "Actual size". "Fit to page" shrinks the page and moves every label.
- Use the manual or bypass tray if your printer has one, and load one sheet at a time.
- Check the pack says your printer type: laser labels in a laser printer, inkjet labels in an inkjet.
- Print a test on plain paper first and hold it over a label sheet against a window.
- If everything is shifted the same way, use the printer alignment adjustment to correct it.
Still slightly off? Use the printer alignment test to correct it once for your printer.
If something prints wrong

L7165 template questions
What fits on a 99.1 × 67.7 mm parcel label?
Nine lines at the default 16 pt, about 33 characters across: a full UK delivery address such as “Mrs Margaret Johnson, Flat 3, 27 Kingsley Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 1TH” fits at full size, with room for a phone number or order reference.
Can I print FRAGILE or THIS WAY UP labels?
Yes. Choose "The same text on every label", type the words, and set Size to "Largest that fits": the text is made as large as the label allows, on all eight labels of the sheet.
Is J8165 the same sheet as L7165?
Yes: J8165 is the inkjet version and L7165 the laser version of one sheet, with eight 99.1 × 67.7 mm labels in the same places. Use the one that matches your printer; this template prints on both.
