How it works

  1. Choose the label sheet that matches your pack.
  2. Type your addresses, paste cells from a spreadsheet, or upload an Excel or CSV file.
  3. Check the preview, download the PDF and print it at 100% on your label sheets.

Your list stays on your computer

A mailing list is personal data — names, home addresses, sometimes customers. There is no upload step here because there is nowhere to upload to: the spreadsheet is read by your browser, and the PDF is built there too.

You can prove it. Load this page, disconnect from the internet, then upload a file and download the PDF. It all still works.

Why labels come out misaligned

The usual cause is not the template. Printing with "Fit to page" shrinks the sheet by a few percent, and most printers feed paper a millimetre or two out of position, which is enough to clip a row of labels.

The alignment test measures both in one plain-paper print, and the correction is applied to every PDF you download afterwards. There is a longer explanation in why labels print off center.

Questions about this site

Is this really free?

Yes. Every template and every download is free, with no account, no watermark and no cap on how many labels you print.

Is my address list uploaded to a server?

No. The spreadsheet is read by JavaScript in your browser and the PDF is built there too. Nothing is sent anywhere, which you can check by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded. The tool still works.

Which label sheets are supported?

Eighteen layouts covering the most common Avery-compatible numbers on both paper sizes: the 5000-series numbers on US Letter, and the L and J numbers on A4. Address, shipping, return address, file folder, name badge and business card sizes. Each template page lists every pack number that fits it.

Does it work with A4 label sheets?

Yes. A4 sheets such as L7160, L7163 and L7651 are supported alongside the US Letter numbers, and their sizes are shown in millimetres. Make sure you pick the template for the paper you actually have: a Letter template will not line up on A4, or the other way round.

Can I change the font or make the text bigger?

Yes. Above the preview you can choose Sans, Serif, Typewriter, Script or Handwritten, and a text size from 8 pt up to "Largest that fits". A size you pick is the largest the text will be: if a long address would not fit at that size, that label is set smaller and the preview says so. You can also center the text and make the first line bold.

Can I print several copies of each label, or number them?

Yes. Set "Copies of each label", or add a Qty or Copies column to your spreadsheet to give each row its own count. Click "Add a number", or type {#} where the number should go, to number the labels 1, 2, 3 and so on, with a starting number and leading zeros if you want them. That covers raffle tickets, box numbers and inventory tags.

Can I add a logo, photo or barcode?

Not yet. Labels are text only, in a choice of five fonts, with bold first lines, centering and automatic shrink-to-fit. The text itself can be in any Latin, Greek or Cyrillic language.

Do accented and non-English names print properly?

Latin, Greek and Cyrillic all print as written, accents included, so Nguyễn, Łódź, Χαριλάου, Москва and İstanbul are fine. In the Script and Handwritten fonts, a line with letters beyond the Western European ones, such as Ł, ễ or Cyrillic, is printed in the plain Sans font instead. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai and the Indic scripts still print as question marks: setting those correctly needs a text-shaping engine, and printing them without one would produce wrong words rather than missing ones.
